Opening ceremony site

On the morning of April 24, 2021, the 20th National Symposium on Monitoring and Purification of Major Infectious Diseases in Large-Scale Pig Farms was opened at the Cooperative Innovation Center for Sustainable Pig Production of Huazhong Agricultural University. More than 600 people from large-scale pig farms, universities and colleges, research institutes, enterprises and industry representatives attended the meeting. Prof. Chen Huanchun, the co-leader of the “Improve Food Safety of Pork Supply Chain in China”project and several other investigators of the project, attended the conference.

This symposium was jointly organized by Hubei Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Association, Animal Disease Diagnostic Center of Huazhong Agricultural University and Wal-Mart Foundation Pork Food Safety Project Team, and co-organized by Yangxiang company, Jinlong Company and the other two companies.

Several investigators of the “Improve Food Safety of Pork Supply Chain in China”, including Prof. Huanchun Chen, Prof. Meilin Jin, Prof. Bin Wu, Dr. Jianmin Zhang, and Dr. Xiangru Wang gave invited talks on the symposium.
